Job Overview

We are currently looking for a talented professional for a German Speaking Cloud Sales Engineer (German Speaking) position in Spain. This is a high-impact role where you will combine technical mastery with consultative sales expertise to drive cloud adoption and architecture excellence for our prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and Sales teams to define technical requirements and recommend scalable, future-state cloud architectures.
• Conduct technical evaluations and build prototypes, demonstrations, and integration examples within partner environments.
• Act as a primary technical resource for the sales team to address objections, technical blockers, and complex customer queries.
• Provide expert guidance on integration strategies, enterprise architecture, and application infrastructure best practices.
• Deliver compelling technical briefings, whiteboards, and product messaging to effectively communicate the Cloud value proposition.
• Maintain precise records in Salesforce to ensure technical-win criteria are documented and met throughout the sales cycle.
• Engage in continuous learning by completing required product certifications and training modules.

Requirements

• Native or fluent German (spoken and written) for this German-speaking job.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies, plus hands-on experience using or managing databases.
• Knowledge of data technologies such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Spark, Flume, Hive, Impala, Spark SQL, or BigQuery.
• Working knowledge of Linux, web technologies and protocols, including HTTP, authentication, cookies/sessions, XML, HTML/XHTML, and XSLT.
• Understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as DNS, TCP, firewalls, proxy servers, and DMZs.
• Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
