We are seeking a dedicated professional for a Collections Agent - French position in Portugal, based on-site in the vibrant area of Algés/Miraflores. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a comprehensive portfolio of clients within an international corporate setting.
• Ensure timely payments and conduct consistent follow-ups on all overdue accounts.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints, escalating them to the relevant subsidiaries as needed.
• Retrieve missing accounting information through proactive communication via phone and email.
• Diplomatically negotiate payment terms while reinforcing company credit and collections policies.
• Maintain precise and accurate digital records of all interactions and client complaints.
• Identify and propose strategic solutions for complex customer account issues.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal teams and external client contacts.

Requirements

• Native or fluent French (spoken and written).
• ???? Fluency in Italian and English (or Portuguese); ???? Previous experience in sales and/or customer service.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cash collection or a related financial role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP software.
