Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify realistic search-related failures where AI models provide inadequate or culturally misaligned responses.
• Create and execute sophisticated search queries to test AI model performance and documentation.
• Document specific technical or cultural failures including local relevance, outdated information, and language mismatches.
• Draft comprehensive instructions and evaluation criteria to guide the development of accurate model responses.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into region-specific inapplicability to ensure high-quality, culturally sensitive search results.
• Perform iterative testing, managing multiple queries to identify root causes of model shortcomings.
• Collaborate with international teams to maintain the highest standards of linguistic and cultural precision.

Requirements

• Native or fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
• Deep cultural expertise and fluency in Chinese language and customs.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify subtle nuances in information quality.
• Proven experience in quality evaluation, technical writing, or language-focused research.
• Ability to commit to 20 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
• Residency within Australia, as this is an on-site assignment in Australia.
